Different

Because we are different
Different individuals with different genetic makeups
With our own unique experiences in life
We are different
Therefore we have different needs in life
To keep ourselves alive
Not just alive, but to live happily and satisfyingly.
For each of us have different goals in life
And as we walk down this path
We stray apart from each other
Though we occasionally meet at crossroad junctions
We walk pass each other
Brushing pass each other's cold shoulder
Though deep down inside, the heart is warm
Yet the other person never realises
For different people live different lives and have different needs
May everyone find whatever they need in life
And cherish it for life, if they ever find it, that is.
One day, I will find it too!
